Guest Artists in Schools Program

Stockton Symphony concert guest artists visit students in local area schools, resulting in wonderful, inspirational experiences for young people.

Guest artists introduce students to the rarified world of professional musicians, share personal experiences with them, and discuss how they embarked on their career paths. They talk about the preparation and commitment required to become a professional musician, demonstrate warm-up and preparation techniques, and showcase skills they have acquired on their particular instruments. Informal, interactive question and answer sessions follow the presentations.
